Month

1-2

Preparation

  • Preliminary due diligence checks.
  • Optional Background Verification Report.
  • Prepare supporting documents.
  • Submit application to the Malta Residency Visa
    Agency (MRVA).
  • Submit the MRVA fees.
     

Month

8

Compliance time

  • Visit Malta to collect biometrics.
  • You will then be required to submit a health
    insurance policy.

Month

3-8

Processing time

  • Due diligence process. 
  • Review process by MRVA.
  • Letter of approval is issued by MRVA.
  • Payment of Contribution to MRVA.
  • Fulfilment of qualifying investment.
  • Fulfilment of qualifying property.
     

Month

9

Receive permanent residency

  • Once all of the above requirements have been fulfilled, your Certificate of Residence is then issued.
  • Your Malta residence card will be issued thereafter.
